Kenneth Gordon Maplewood School has been accepted as a Featured Charity for the BMO Vancouver Marathon on Sunday, May 3rd! Over 30 KGMS staff members, parents, and students will be running to raise $50,000, which will go towards scholarships for kids with learning differences (including dyslexia, autism, ADHD, and anxiety), who would greatly benefit from attending KGMS, but are in extreme need of financial support.
We have reached over 30 team members, and have already raised over $2,600. A few of our team members have already either reached their goal of $400, or surpassed it. Way to go, Team KGMS!
Please consider supporting our kids at KGMS! Your gift will help us build a future for these kids in need, and help KGMS families afford the high costs of tuition for their child who has been struggling with their learning challenges. Through our program, they receive one-on-one tutoring, the lowest student to teacher ratio in the province, and a focus on hands-on learning.
