At KGMS, we understand this is a trying time for our families, which is why we have set up a KGMS Community Relief Fund to provide financial support for our school community during the global COVID-19 pandemic. This fund focuses on tuition assistance for current KGMS families who have been impacted by the changes in the economy. Many of our students come to us after struggling with their learning, and have found success from our specialized program. The goal of the KGMS Community Relief Fund is to ensure that our students continue to have access to our program, so we can continue to unlock and remove obstacles to their learning, and help them build upon the personal growth and academic achievement that they have been working hard on during their time at our school. If you’re able to, and would like to contribute to our KGMS Community Relief Fund, you can make a donation to families who are struggling via the Donate button below and choose “Student Aid”.

The KGMS Legacy Fund allows the opportunity for our community to support our school as we work to empower students with learning differences such as dyslexia, ADHD, anxiety and autism. Every little bit helps, and your donation will go towards helping finance the ever-increasing costs of providing the specialized programming needed to assist our student population in moving past their learning obstacles so they may experience success and a sense of pride in their abilities. All donations made towards the KGMS Legacy Fund will go towards helping kids who are in need of a unique learning experience to thrive educationally.

For over 40 years, Kenneth Gordon Maplewood School and Maplewood Alternative High School have helped kids build skills and develop tools to be successful throughout their lives. We empower students by unlocking and removing obstacles to learning so that each child can experience personal growth and academic achievement. Our school specializes in educating and growing the confidence of students with dyslexia, ADHD, anxiety, autism and other learning challenges in Grades K – 12 and our approach is designed to develop the whole child. The KGMS Best of Me Gala was held on May 4, 2019. The event was a huge success. We raised a record amount of over $200,000 for the Bursary Fund, and this could not have been accomplished without the help from our sponsors, auction donors and many volunteers. Their support and generosity will help make our school accessible to the many students who deserve the specialized learning experience that KGMS excels at providing.
